All entries will be acknowledged by email (or mail if preferred-please indicate on entry form) approximately 7 days prior to games date. Entries must be received by July 22, 2010 (entries received after this date will NOT be accepted).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Travel subsidy will be paid to bands which participate in both the Mid Day and Massed Bands Parade, based on the radius from East Durham, NY. Up to 50 miles: $100; 51 to 100 miles: $150; 101 to 150 miles: $200; over 150 miles $225
• Pipe bands are requested to march off, playing, immediately after completing their performance.
• Pipe Bands which fail to comply promptly with the Steward’s direction to proceed to the competition area will not be allowed to compete.
• Pipe Bands are not encouraged to bring color guards to East Durham. Those who choose to do so must restrict their participation to the Mid-day Parade. Under no circumstances are colors to be carried in the Massed Bands or the Competition Area.
• Please provide up to date information of general interest about your band. Send it with your entry.

PRIZES:

Grade 3 Pipe Bands- Medley

1st - $900; 2nd: $775; 3rd: $650

Grade 4 Pipe Bands

1st: Trophy and $650; 2nd: $600; 3rd: $550; 4th: $500

Grade 5 Pipe Bands:

1st: Trophy and $450; 2nd: $400; 3rd: $350; 4th: $300

DRESS, MARCHING, AND DEPORTMENT (Judged in Parade; Color Guards Disregarded)

1st: Trophy and $50; 2nd: $30; 3rd: $20

Drum Major Competition:

1st: Trophy and $100; 2nd: $50; 3rd: $30
